Mystery surrounds footage of bizarre ‘creature’ washed up in tsunami

STRANGE footage showing a mysterious creature washed up in Japan in the devastating 2011 tsunami has sent viewers into a spin.

The unindentified whale-like mass is seen lying unmoving on the beach following the natural disaster that killed 18,000 people.

A 30-second video featuring the bizarre object at different angles has surfaced online and has got people scratching their heads.

Pointing out his find, the man in the clip acts with caution – refusing to get too close to the beached lump.



However, on closer inspection it does appear to resemble a rock or boulder.

One viewer offered his take on the discovery, saying: “Giant white godzilla poop.”

Five million tons of wreckage were engulfed by the ocean when the tsunami struck four years ago.
