Moors murderer Ian Brady is ‘close to death’
BEDRIDDEN Moors murderer Ian Brady is on the brink of death – and has sent his Christmas cards out months early.
The evil 77-year-old killer – who has never shown any remorse for the murders – posted his first batch of festive cards in September, informing recipients of his ailing health.
He also revealed he’d written his will and can only move around by using a Zimmer frame.
In a handwritten letter sent to one acquaintance on his Christmas card list, he wrote: “I’m still bedridden and now have a chest infection. Excuse my bedridden handwriting.
“I no longer do much reading at this late stage.”
A source told the Sunday People: “Brady is 77. He’s been ill for a long time and isn’t getting any better.
“He constantly talks about his death. Judging by this, he looks to be on his last legs.”
With the help of then-girlfriend Myra Hindley, Brady tortured and killed five children between 1963 and 1965.
The twisted couple sexually tortured their victims then buried their bodies on Saddleworth Moor near Manchester.
Hindley died in prison at the age of 60 in 2002.
