Robbing couple raid store holding baby

Pair make off with £3,500 worth of clothes and cash

Gunman holds baby

A BRAZEN couple rob a clothes store in a violent raid – accompanied by a BABY.

The pair enter the shop and look around at the start of the CCTV footage.

Within moments, the man passes the toddler over to his partner, whips out a gun and directs it at the owner’s head as he forces him to the back of the store before starting to tie him up.

A male accomplice joins him, kicking the terrified shop owner into submission.

Seconds later the woman returns with the baby and puts him on the floor to crawl around while she packs £3,500 worth of clothes and cash into a huge carry bag.

At one point the youngster, thought to be aged around nine months old, comes within inches of the helpless businessman as he lays behind the counter.

The gunman then pockets the till takings before all three flee with the child in a getaway car waiting outside.

The shocking incident happened on Saturday at a shop near Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Store owner Marcelo Taraborrelli said: “The girl obviously had the baby so everything appeared normal.

It was a strategy. Unfortunately the child was an innocent accomplice.

“He didn’t walk and I reckon he was about nine months to one year old.”
Police are still hunting the trio.

Marcelo, whose family live behind the shop, said afterwards it was the third time he had been robbed.
