Katy Perry Has Been the Life of the Party Lately--See Her Latest Poolside Snap, Complete With a Mermaid!

Katy Perry is living a real-life teenage dream as of late.

From hitting up clubs with Rihanna to riding segways at Burning Man, the 30-year-old singer has been the life of the party over the last few weeks.

On Thursday night, she took to Instagram to share yet another festive pic, sitting poolside and smoking a hookah with a mermaid (er, permaid?) decked out in black latex.

"Ayyyye pink dolphin what's good?! @permaidpermaid," she captioned the photo, referencing the rare pink dolphin that was spotted n Louisiana over the Labor Day weekend. In the pic, Perry dons a green and white striped mini that flashes a peek at her white undies, accessorizing with gold sandals and a headband.

Permaid--a combination of Persian and mermaid--is an ongoing public art project by photographer Aeschleah DeMartino and fashion designer Nicolette Mishkan in which they photograph the figure in different places all over the world.

Just a few days before she shared the photo, the "Roar" singer celebrated her foot and handprint ceremony at the Hollywood Chinese Theater during the premiere of Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott's Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer.

Perry looked stunning in a plunging black dress, blue eye shadow and voluminous hair, but she came this close to suffering a bit of a wardrobe malfunction.  After she lifted her hands from the wet cement, her dress rode up and almost gave spectators an eyeful. Luckily, she caught it just in time!

Perry's glammed-up style comes on the heels of a grungier, fun-filled weekend at the 2015 Burning Man arts and music festival in Black Rock Desert, Nev.  Perry shared several moments from the event, including one in which she almost fell off a segway...LOL!

The series of back-to-back parties and playdates is just the latest in Perry's ever-exciting life. She was also spotted flaunting some major cleavage at Matthew Morrison's Broadway show last month, followed by a night out on the town in NYC with bestie Rihanna just a few days after that.
