Teen girl stabbed in ‘arson attack’ Girl aged 16 knifed repeatedly before fire started at house in Birmigham
A TEENAGE girl was repeatedly stabbed in a house targeted in a suspected arson attack last night.
Police said the 16-year-old was rushed to hospital with “multiple stab wounds”.
She was said to be in a stable condition this morning.
At around the same time a fire was started at the property Kitts Green, Birmingham.
A man aged 42 was found later with minor injuries and detained by police in connection with the attack.
West Midlands Police said: “Police were called following a report that a teenager had been stabbed and a small fire had been started at about 10pm yesterday.
“A small fire at the address was dealt with by West Midlands Fire Service.
“Nobody else was injured.”
