Wedding couple’s son, 3, in horror fall
A SHOCKED bride feared her three-year-old son had died after he fell 10ft from a balcony at her wedding.
Gemma Coulton, 33, saw page boy Freddie topple backwards through wooden rails and plunge on to stairs.
She said: “The flower girls and page boys were about to walk down the stairs ahead of me.
Mum-of-four Gemma, of Horsham, said: “We were in such shock we don’t even remember saying our vows.”
Signs now ban children from the balcony.

“He just disappeared through a gap. We heard this almighty thud. I thought he was dead.”
Freddie was just winded. But Gemma and electrician groom Christopher, 35, rushed through the ceremony at Lewes Town Hall, East Sussex, before taking him to hospital for checks.
