Sokoto to immunize 1.8million children

The deputy state governor of Sokoto, Ahmed Aliyu, has revealed that the state is undergoing a four days polio immunization exercise to immunize approximately 1.8 million children under the age of five.
In an interview obtained from News Agency of Nigeria, Aliyu who happens to be the Chairman, State Taskforce on Polio Immunisation said exercise which started in the 23 local government area, on Saturday will end on Tuesday, October 18, 2016Report also started, that the Sokoto State Government had distributed about 1.83 million doses of Oral Polio Vaccines at several local government areas in other to combat infantile paralysis.
