Pc Michael Graham to appear in court this week
A POLICE officer has been charged with seven counts of rape.
Pc Michael Graham, 47, attached to Hounslow borough, was arrested at home earlier this month and has been suspended, Scotland Yard said.
Graham is charged with seven counts of rape and one of assault, offences which are alleged to have taken place between December 2013 and September 2014.
He was arrested while off duty on October 6.
Officers in the sexual offences exploitation and child abuse unit are investigating Graham, who is said to have been off duty when the alleged offences were committed.
Graham is to appear in Uxbridge magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
Scotland Yard said the Directorate of Professional Standards, a police body that investigates the conduct of officers, had been informed.
