Hunt for vulnerable mum who walked out of hospital with mystery man leaving her newborn son

A VULNERABLE mum is being hunted by police after going missing from hospital hours after giving birth – leaving her baby boy behind.

Anna Chudy gave birth by caesarean in the early hours of Thursday morning at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow, North West London.

But at 10.30pm last night, CCTV images showed the 35-year-old leaving the A&E department with an unknown man.

He has been described as white, with short dark brown hair and an athletic build. He was wearing a black leather jacket with patches on the elbows and dark trousers.

Scotland Yard Detective Sergeant Adrian Smith said: “This is a vulnerable woman who needs to be located as soon as possible so she can be reunited with her baby boy.

“We are not looking to trace her with the intention of pursuing any criminal matters against her, our only concern is her safe return.

“It is of paramount importance that anyone who has any information about her whereabouts contacts us immediately.”
