'WATCH YOUR PURSE!' Amy Childs’ pregnancy joy ‘ruined by cruel trolls’ after revealing she’s having a baby with jailbird Bradley Wright
AMY Childs’ pregnancy joy has been ruined by cruel trolls who have hit out at her jailbird boyfriend Bradley Wright online.
The former Towie star announced she was pregnant with the couple’s first baby on October 24 but according to new! Magazine, fans quickly turned on the 26-year-old and her partner, insinuating she wouldn’t be able to trust him after he spent time in prison for handling stolen goods.
The outlet reports one social media user wrote “watch your purse” while others branded her “stupid” for rekindling her romance with the criminal.
Another took aim at the fact Bradley was caught sexting another woman behind Amy’s back last year, calling him a “philandering jailbird”.
One Twitter user added: “Well done on the baby news!!! Just shame the other half is an idiot u deserve better [sic]”.
Upon hearing the news, another said: “Is it me who’s wrong when I see all the ‘congratulations’ for Amy Childs pregnancy and I just think…that poor baby?”
The couple – who met in an Essex pub two years ago – weathered the storm of the sexting scandal, but broke up when Amy discovered Bradley had been sentenced to 16 months in prison in October last year.
The beauty went on to admit it was the fact her boyfriend had kept his court date a secret from her which had tipped her over the edge.
But having reconciled earlier this year, Amy is putting her trust back into her relationship with the builder and is looking forward to welcoming their first child in May next year.
She told OK! magazine: “[I am feeling] shocked but happy. I feel so overwhelmed and I keep waking up smiling.
“We’ve wanted a baby for so long, so we’re happier than we’ve ever been.”We wanted one before Bradley went to prison but it didn’t happen.
“I didn’t think I could get pregnant.”
However another social media user attacked Amy for seemingly jumping on the baby bandwagon like her fellow former Towie stars Sam and Billie Faiers.
Sam currently has her own reality show based around her trials as a first-time mum, Sam Faiers: The Mummy Diaries, and the individual accused Amy of trying to achieve the same feat.
They wrote: "Poor Amy, were you feeling left out of the baby train?
"Can't let Sam and Paul hog the limelight with their baby programme, you and Bradley can do that too!!! Hmm, love it when a plan comes together ££££££££££!!!"
